Job overview

 This is an exciting opportunity for a visible, compassionate and proactive leader who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

In this role, you will provide strong clinical, managerial and professional leadership to nursing teams, ensuring safe, effective and high‑standard care across a range of specialist services. You will support the delivery of the Nursing and Midwifery Strategy, lead on quality and clinical performance indicators, and ensure that patient experience remains central to all areas of service delivery.

The post holder will also support service development, champion good governance, and line manage nursing staff, promoting a positive, inclusive and high‑performing culture.

To maintain clinical credibility and support frontline teams, you will spend at least 20% of your time in direct clinical practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic senior nurse looking to drive improvements, lead change, and support the continued development of  medical specialties.
