In order to continually improve all aspects of our patient experience, we rely upon having a highly skilled, motivated, diverse, productive and patient focused workforce.

In your application for this post, please describe how your experience and skills align with 'Our values-based behaviours' ( see additional documentation) and provide examples.

Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Business Intelligence team as we continue to develop our data warehouse and enhance our Tableau reporting solutions, improving the way information supports performance management, service delivery and improvement.

Reporting to the Senior Analyst team, the post holder will contribute to the production of statutory and national returns, as well as delivering accurate and timely reporting to clinical and non-clinical colleagues across the Trust.

As demand for high-quality performance information continues to grow, the role requires a proactive and flexible team member who can support a range of reporting requirements while maintaining strong attention to data quality and detail.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of a supportive and dynamic team delivering an effective information and analytical service to the Trust. The role involves producing high-quality routine and ad hoc analysis to support operational performance monitoring and service improvement.

You will contribute to the development and maintenance of performance reports, indicators and dashboards, ensuring data is accurate, timely and clearly presented to support decision-making.

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused individual with strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.  You will be proactive, be able to manage competing priorities, and be confident working both independently and as part of a team.

You will have experience working with data, strong Excel skills, and a good understanding of data quality principles.  Knowledge of NHS datasets and performance standards would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided.

The role involves liaising with colleagues across the organisation to clarify reporting requirements and explain data outputs in a clear and accessible way.

This post is ideal for an analyst looking to further develop their technical skills and gain experience within NHS performance and information services.

About us

You will join a friendly and dedicated Business Intelligence team committed to delivering a high quality and responsive service to the Trust.
