An exciting opportunity is now available for a highly organised and detail-oriented Fleet Parts Specialist to join our dynamic Northampton workshop team!
Our Northampton workshop is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a small dedicated and expanding team of skilled vehicle technicians.
If you’re looking to make a real difference and want to be part of a Fleet Team that plays a vital role in keeping emergency vehicles in top condition—helping frontline crews respond safely and effectively—then we’d love to hear from you!
Main duties of the job
In this key role, you’ll take ownership of maintaining parts stock within the trust’s vehicle maintenance system, sourcing a wide range of vehicle components—including specialist emergency service parts—and handling Purchase Orders, goods receipting, and allocating parts to maintenance jobs.
We’re looking for someone with strong computer skills and experience in the automotive trade, who is adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to grow. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Essential criteria
- Clean driving Licence with 2 years driving experience
- Qualification in Maths and English to O' Level GCSE standard
Desirable criteria
- C1 driving Licence
- Understanding of fleet workshop requirements
- Experience of emergency service vehicle
