An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and reliable person to join the team at Children's Assessment Unit as Ward Housekeeper.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the environment meets the needs and expectations of parents, children, visitors and the Ward/Unit.   The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities and services in the area and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

 

The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, stocking up monitoring of top up services, together with other specified tasks to meet individual ward demands as determined by the Senior Sister/Sister.  The post holder will monitor quality standards, reporting deficiencies and recommending appropriate changes.
