Job overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual, who enjoys challenges, to join our team at the Hellingly Centre, a secure mental health unit near Hailsham. You will be working as an administrator for Forensic Healthcare where you will use your skills support highly-skilled and dedicated clinical staff from a multitude of backgrounds including; doctors, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and social workers, to help ensure that we continue to provide excellent patient-focused care.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person who is:

§   Organised;

§   Has good PC skills;

§   Works well in a team;

§   Has excellent communication skills; and

§   Has good interpersonal skills and is able to work in a             confidential and sensitive manner.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent qualifications
  • Good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above or equivalent

Knowledge/Experience

Essential criteria
  • Proven experience of a range of administrative procedures
  • Experience of producing documents to a high standard of presentation with good accuracy
  • Experience of developing, managing and maintaining office information systems
  • Experience of working as part of a team
