Job overview

An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Estates & Facilities Cleaning Services Department as a Cleaning Services Assistant at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

Closing Date: 28th September 2025.

Shortlisting to take place after closing date: Commencing 29th September 2025.

Interview expected to take place in the week following shortlisting: Commencing 13th October 2025.

Successful candidates will be required to provide and maintain appropriate cleaning standards in areas within the Trust.

With numerous positions available the successful applicants will have the opportunity to work full or part time hours or weekends.

There is a necessity to comply with the Trusts policies and procedures, and to have an understanding of confidentiality.

Main duties of the job

The job holder will work as part of the existing cleaning services team and provide a professional customer focused quality service within available resources.

 To clean specific public areas of the hospital using specialist cleaning equipment and ensuring that the cleaning is undertaken to the required standard of hygiene in accordance with national standards of healthcare cleanliness and internal standard operating procedures. This includes entrances, corridors, stairs, Lifts, toilet facilities, ward areas, Theatres, and departments within the hospital.
