We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Collaboration Manager who will be responsible for working with our partners to shape and plan strategic research collaborations in health and social care, focusing on understanding and responding to evidence of local needs. Reporting to our Director of Strategy, you will connect partners across sectors to build and strengthen collaborations between health, care and academic sectors, including third sector partners, who are experts in understanding and working with our communities.
You will need to understand the current and future health and social care challenges our system is facing so that you can help to align strategic research collaborations with priorities across Leeds, the region and nationally. You will also use knowledge of Leeds' research strengths to horizon scan for funding opportunities, helping match population needs and city strengths to strategic research opportunities. In this role you’ll be expected to build evaluation into your approaches and use appropriate impact and outcome measures. We work across a range of partners and priorities and are looking for someone with a track record of managing multiple concurrent activities to different timescales.

RMN Staff Nurse
· Assist the ward in the day to day operation of the clinical area, and the development of the team.
· Work collaboratively as a Key Worker within the multidisciplinary team, acting as a role model for good practice; this includes liaising with associated professionals and other agencies, and offering support and guidance to clinical team as necessary.
· Ensure that service user centred care plans are developed, implemented, evaluated and recorded.
· Ensure effective and therapeutic communication with service users, relatives, visitors and staff. To include the management of clinical risk, ensuring that risks are assessed, identified and care planned for individuals, and that any issues of concern are communicated within the multidisciplinary team, this includes environmental factors. Participate in the assessment of service users who present in crisis during the 24 hour period, liaising with other services as required.
· Make effective use of evidence based practice in day to day clinical practice.
Responsible for reporting to the nurse in charge (or nominated deputy) any circumstances that may affect the delivery of care and / or efficient running of the ward.
