In particular flexibility is required across the three main hospital sites (Leicester Royal Infirmary Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital). To carry out planned and reactive maintenance task to a high standard that is commensurate with the skills and experience for the role. The post holder will be reporting on a day to day basis to the Estates Supervisor and maintenance managers. Budget Contribute to the identification and delivery of CIP plans in accordance with CMG/Corporate Areas targets. Staff Policy Responsible for the development and implementation of the departmental strategy to support the wider Trust approach to Estates services in line with HTM’s policies and guidance. Contribute towards continual improvement. Monitor changes in policies and implement any changes with the Estates team. Communications Job Title: Maintenance Craftsperson Carpenter Date Finalised: February 2022 Page 3 KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS The post holder will maintain good communications and working relationships with;  Members of Trust staff at all levels including nursing staff  Estates Supervisors  Estates Managers  All Estates and Facilities staff across disciplines  External Agencies  Emergency services KEY RESULT AREAS  Undertake all Joinery works to all hospital property internally and externally to a high quality and acceptable craft standards and approved methods of working.  Have the ability to interpret technical detailed manuals undertake fault diagnosis and solving of maintenance problems. Communicate technical knowledge to others particularly in the safe use of fixed woodworking machinery and other portable equipment.  Undertake site inspection and surveys determine Plant access materials and tools requirements. Report any other defects.  Use and operate the Estates PlanetFM computerised labour management system. Plan and prioritise own workload. Work within the scheme including completion of all works dockets noting amendments to work and feed back into the system accounting for a work times and monitoring of
